SHOWER UNITS
Devices for the delivery of pressurised water jets for massage procedures are called shower units. With the help of shower units it is possible to massage different parts of the human body.

Polypromsintez manufactures such shower units:

• DSH-2 and DSH-2 LUX shower chairs. Water is supplied from two nozzles under high pressure.
• installation for circular shower. Thin needle-like jets of water come from metal pipes arranged in a semicircle.
• ascending shower unit. Massage for the pelvic organs from a special nozzle built into the seat.

SHOWER CHAIRS
Shower chair treatments require a large enough room to place the patient 3-4m away from the shower chair. Two separate nozzles are installed on the chair and a jet of water under strong pressure is delivered from each. The medical officer performing the procedure must necessarily have specialised training to set the water temperature and pressure correctly. By varying the temperature and pressure, different types of procedures can be performed with different effects on the patient. The most popular therapeutic procedures with shower chairs are Charcot shower and contrast (also called Scottish) shower.

Charcot shower is a common name for a procedure where two jets of water at a pressure of up to 4 Bar are massaged by a medical staff member. The patient is positioned at a safe distance and holds onto the handle for comfort. The handle is included in the package. Historically, the name of the procedure was established from the surname of the French doctor who came up with the first prototype of the modern shower chair. In our country, such showers are quite popular in sanatoriums, hydrotherapy, health and beauty centres. Doctors prescribe Charcot showers for joint and muscle injuries, arthritis, rheumatism, metabolic problems, mental and emotional diseases. In cosmetology, procedures with shower chairs are used against excess weight and cellulite, acting directly on problem areas.

If, in addition to the mechanical pressure of the water jets, the alternation of cold and hot water is added, the blood circulation is further stimulated. Blood circulation is significantly increased and the whole organism is activated. Contrasting temperatures are brought to 35 ° C. The name Scottish shower is used for this procedure.

There are two models of shower chairs in the assortment of Polipromsintez – DSH-2 LUX and DSH-2. In addition to its main function, the chair DSH-2 LUX provides an opportunity to control the operation of circular and ascending showers.

CIRCULAR SHOWER
For a circular shower massage, the patient is placed inside a semi-circle made of metal pipes and covered with a curtain. The health care worker switches on the water supply and thin streams of water flow from the small holes in the pipes. The holes are located all around the perimeter of the tubes, so that the whole body is massaged. The patient feels a slight pleasant tingling sensation. Blood rushes to the skin and metabolic processes are stimulated. Circular shower has a tonic and tonic effect on the human body. In addition, the procedure is useful for those who want to get rid of fat deposits, improve the appearance and texture of the skin.

Installation for circular shower Polypromsintez is a quality and reliable product that successfully works in many sanatorium-resort and medical institutions. It is recommended to switch the circular shower on and off from the shower chair DSH-2 LUX, where a separate tap is provided for this purpose. If there is no shower chair, water is supplied by means of a thermo-mixer tap installed independently.

ASCENDING SHOWER
A special shower has been developed for the treatment of the pelvic organs, located inside a ring-shaped tripod seat. Pressurised water is supplied to the spraying tip. The procedure can be controlled from the shower chair DSH-2 LUX. There is a tap for this purpose on the control panel.
