Composite reinforcing bandages “Polypromsintez” are designed to solve important tasks arising in the process of construction and operation of trunk and process pipelines:

Repair of various types of localised defects in steel pipelines:

  • external corrosion of the pipe wall;
  • internal delamination of the pipe wall;
  • mechanical damage;
  • weld defects.

Increase of reliability and bearing capacity of the pipeline in places of violation of minimum safe distances (protection zones) to industrial and agricultural facilities;

  • Increase in the value of the ultimate (destructive) pressure in long pipeline sections, allowing to upgrade the category of the pipeline section.

Service life of composite reinforcing PPS bandages, without loss of strength and operational characteristics, is not less than 50 years.
Technological advantages when performing works on installation of composite reinforcing bands of PPP:

  • there is no need to stop pumping of the product through the pipeline;
  • possibility to install PPS bandages on sections of practically unlimited length;
  • the work is performed without the use of expensive machinery, special equipment and equipment.

Works on installation of composite reinforcing bandages “Polypromsintez” are carried out in accordance with technical specifications TU U 22887593.006-2000 “Repair of trunk and technological pipelines with composite reinforcing bandages “Polypromsintez”, as well as with the instruction “Instruction on repair of defective parts of pipelines with the use of composite reinforcing bandages”. Technical conditions and instruction were developed by the specialists of the company “Polypromsintez” together with Scientific and Research Institute of Problems of Reliability of Oil and Gas Pipelines (Ivano-Frankivsk), and agreed with NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, Gosnadzorokhrankruda of Ukraine, Ministry of Health of Ukraine. TU U 22887593.006-2000 registered by the State Standard of Ukraine on 23.11.2000.

Composite reinforcing bandages “Polipromsintez” have passed a full range of tests and certified by the Centre for Certification of Construction Materials, Products and Structures “SEPROKIEVSTROYPROEKT” (Kiev), the Centre for Certification and Quality Control of Construction of Oil and Gas Complex Facilities (Dnepropetrovsk), as well as tested for fungus resistance at the Institute of Microbiology and Virology named after D.K. Zabolotnyy NAS of Ukraine. D.K. Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

External anticorrosive heat-resistant heat-resistant coating of reinforced type "Polypromsintez"

The company “Polypromsintez” produces external anticorrosive heat-resistant coating of reinforced type, which has a number of advantages. This coating is used for construction and repair of trunk and process pipelines. Thanks to the introduction of new technologies, Polypromsintez coating is widely used for insulation of the linear part of the pipeline, ground-to-air crossings, underwater crossings, elements of shut-off valves, as well as welded joints.

External anticorrosion coating “Polipromsintez” is performed in accordance with technical specifications TU U 22887593.005-2000 “Steel pipes with external anticorrosion coating “Polipromsintez” and instruction “Instruction on technology of pipe insulation and welded sticks with the help of coating “Polipromsintez”. Technical conditions and instruction are coordinated with NAK “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, Gosnadzorokhrantruda of Ukraine, Ministry of Health of Ukraine. TU U 22887593.005-2000 registered by the State Standard of Ukraine on 19.10.2000.

Insulation coating “Polipromsintez” has passed a full range of tests and certified by the Centre for Certification of Building Materials, Products and Structures “SEPROKIEVSTROYPROEKT” (Kiev), the Centre for Certification and Quality Control of Construction of Oil and Gas Complex Facilities (Dnepropetrovsk), as well as investigated for fungus resistance and resistance to aggressive action of sea water.

Since the introduction of developments into production, the new technology has found wide application at the objects of oil and gas complex of the country.
